Coats For Kids
Peerless Cleaners has partnered for over twenty years with the Volunteer Center in Fort Wayne, collecting coats for area school children who might not have a coat for the winter. New and gently used coats, hats, gloves and mittens, are collected in the month of November. The coats are all cleaned and thoroughly checked for broken zippers, tears or missing buttons. They are sorted off site and separated by size and gender. The coats are distributed throughout the area through schools and non-profit agencies in Allen, LaGrange, Noble and Wells county. Without your generous donations, this event would not be possible.
Cinderella
Dress Day
Peerless Cleaners has been one of the major sponsors along with the Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance for over 18 years to put on Cinderella Dress Day. We collect prom dresses all year round, along with shoes, jewelry and purses to help relieve some of the prom expense for families. There are also free new undergarments available that are donated from a local shop as well as hair stylists that help the girls figure out what to do with their hair and make-up for prom. Along with this great event we have wellness speakers and health booths that inform the girls of all kinds of issues that could impact these girls on their Cinderella Night. Cinderella Dress Day is always the third Saturday in March.

We receive numerous requests for donations every day. To be considered for a donation, a request must be in writing at least 6 weeks prior to the event. All requests are reviewed to see if they meet our criteria. If you have a request, please mail it to:
